Privacy Policy
JDHukum is a private knowledge base. It answers questions using only the documents its users have uploaded into it. This policy describes what it collects, why, and who else sees it.
What JDHukum collects
- Your Google account details
- When you sign in, Google gives JDHukum your email address, display name, profile photo URL and Google account identifier. JDHukum requests nothing else — not your mail, files, calendar or contacts.
- A session identifier
- One cookie,
jd_session, holding a random identifier and nothing else. It is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and expires after 30 days. - The documents you upload
- Their filename, type, size and full extracted text, together with the numeric representations used to search them. The original file itself is not kept.
- The questions you ask
- Each question, the answer produced, the passages quoted, and the token counts the answer consumed.
There is no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and no cookies other than the session cookie above.
Where it is stored
All of it is stored on Cloudflare's network, in a Cloudflare D1 database and a Cloudflare Vectorize index operated for this application.
Who else sees it
- Google — only for sign-in. Google tells JDHukum who you are; JDHukum tells Google nothing about what you do here.
- OpenAI — the text of uploaded documents and the questions asked are sent to OpenAI's API to be indexed and answered. This is how the product works and cannot be turned off while using it.
- Cloudflare — as the infrastructure the application runs on.
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared with anyone else.
Who can see your documents inside JDHukum
Every signed-in user of this instance can read, upload and delete every document in it. Signing in identifies you; it does not partition what you can reach. Do not upload anything you are not willing for all other users of this instance to read.
Keeping and deleting
Data is kept until it is deleted. Deleting a document removes its text and its search vectors. Signing out deletes that session immediately, and expired sessions are cleared automatically. To have your account and its records removed entirely, write to the address below.
Your rights
You may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to the contact address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
